A robot which vacuums household rooms on autopilot, the Roomba, is the most well-known of the products. It automatically navigates for best cleaning coverage, cleans under and around furniture, into corners and along wall edges, and has powerful suction and rotating brushes. Another product, iRobot Scooba, cleans hardwood and tile floors automatically. Sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum floors are removed gently and efficiently by its patented four-stage cleaning system - so much so that 98 percent of bacteria are removed. Scooba automatically avoids carpets, stairs and drop-offs while it preps, washes, scrubs and squeegees hard floors, cleaning the entire area, under and around furniture and along wall and cabinet edges.
